Machine Operator
Yoder Pallet Company is accepting applications for a machine operator. We expect applicants to be committed, neat, hardworking, and able to put others first. This position will enable those with enthusiasm and a high work ethic the opportunity to join a stable, growing company and build a long-term career.
Pay is production based and paid on a weekly basis. Average starting rate is between $16-$18 per hour, with the opportunity for continued advancement opportunities through merit and performance-based increases. Benefits include Highmark® health insurance with company contribution, 401K with 3.5% company match, Dental and Vision insurance, company paid basic term life insurance, paid holidays, and paid vacation.
The position is fast-paced and requires a desire to continually excel and grow. Applicants must be in good physical condition, able to bend, twist and lift moderately heavy objects. Applicants should be committed to complying with safety rules and guidelines and production quality expectations, and able to work well both alone and on a team. Some mechanical skills are required but can be learned on the job.

About the Interview Process:
Selected applicants will be required to complete an in-person job tryout as part of the interview process. This is not an offer of employment. The tryout provides an opportunity for applicants to better understand the environment, job tasks, team dynamic and performance expectations. Applicants will be compensated for their time during the job tryout.
Every applicant will not progress through the entire interview process. Only applicants identified as most qualified will be called to the next stage of the interview process.
Selected applicants who are offered a position will be required to complete a standard background check prior to beginning employment. Having a criminal history does not automatically disqualify any applicant from employment with Yoder Pallet Company.
